Hi! I’m Melissa
The owner of YYC Spray Tans. I’ve been an esthetician for 15 years and a spray tan artist for the last 10 years. My journey into spray tanning started in an unexpected way. While getting a tan myself, I thought, Why can’t I learn how to do this? And that’s exactly what I did!
Skincare and UV-safe alternatives have always been incredibly important to me. I lost my best friend to melanoma at just 20 years old, and my mom is currently battling melanoma as well. If you know me, you know I avoid direct sun exposure but like everyone else, I still love a beautiful, bronzed glow! That’s why I’m so passionate about providing safe, sunless tanning options that make you look and feel amazing.
Beyond my work, I’m an animal lover and a strong advocate for animal welfare. My fur daughter, Athena, a pitbull I rescued five years ago has my whole heart. I’m also passionate about fitness and even picked up a part-time job at my gym, which I absolutely love!
